Profile Privacy

Profile Privacy is a feature added to Whirled Club on the 29th of April, 2023. This allows you to select the degree of privacy for each section of your user profile.

The degrees of privacy that can be chosen are:

• Public (default): This section can be seen by all users, except those who you have blocked.
• Friends-Only: This section can only be seen by users who are your friend.
• Hidden: This section is only visible to you, and Whirled Club staff.

All sections of the profile can be configured with an individual privacy setting by heading to your profile, and clicking "Edit Profile".

Exceptions

There are some exceptions to privacy settings.

• All profile sections are visible to Whirled Club staff, and you are still expected to follow the Terms of Service and Community Standards at all times.
• These privacy settings only change your Profile page itself. Some information (such as galleries, friends list, etc) can still be accessed from dedicated pages.
• If you comment on your own Hidden profile, friends will still be able to see that comment from their newsfeed on the Me page.
• If you are a member of any groups, the group managers will be able to see your Groups section, even if it is hidden. This is a requirement for handling of group brand shares.
