Instructions from the Game
How to Play
Make words from the letters along the bottom of the board. They have to be at least 4 letters long. The longer the word the higher its score:
- 4 letters earns 1 point
- 5 letters earns 2 points
- 6 letters earns 3 points
- and so on...
Scoring
Wildcards
If you get stumped. Click one of the little flying saucers in the lower right. That will change one of your letters (at random) to a wildcard.
You can use the wildcard as any letter of the alphabet. Note: each wildcard letter subtracts one point from the word score.
For example aide would normally score 1 point because it is four letters long, but instead it scores zero because it has a wildcard. Note: the blue letter in the word has no effect because it multiplies the zero score by two which is still zero.
End Game
As you make words from the letters, your score increases. When you can no longer make words or when you have cleared the board, the game ends and your score is recorded. Your high scores are shown on the right of the game display.
Trophies
If your score is especially high, or if you accomplish other goals during the game, you will be awarded a trophy.
Check the Trophies tab for a complete list of trophies that can be earned.
Multiplayer
You can play Dictionary Attack against your friends! Click the "Play!" button and then start a multiplayer game.
