== What are Land Sea Animals? ==&lt;br /&gt;
Land Sea Animals were inspired by a few different influences. The biggest influence was the wish for a system that would allow avatars to fight each other in an easy and fun way. The original Avatar Combat system was created by [http://www.whirled.com/#people-1855 Nordenx] and [http://www.whirled.com/#people-20260 Conrad500] and further developed and refined by [http://www.whirled.com/#people-1358 The Cosmic Cheese].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The other influence was from [http://www.whirled.com/#people-3383 Version2.0] who created the original Land Sea Animal, the [http://www.whirled.com/#shop-l_5_2949 LAND WHAAALE]. The Whale was originally just an ordinary &amp;amp;quot;Gun Whale&amp;amp;quot; avatar (a whale with a cannon on its head) until Version2.0 asked Nordenx to add his Dueling Cowboy's code into it so that players can shoot each other with its cannon. But the idea of sea animals on land with stretched out names in battle was far too appealing to pass up. Nordenx then created the dueling  [http://www.whirled.com/#shop-l_5_2956 LAND SHAAARK] avatar (a shark with a laser in its head) and soon this concept inspired several more creators to make their own dueling land sea animals with a stretched name sporting odd &amp;amp;amp; silly weapon or attack combinations.&lt;br /&gt;
